How Does a Platform Lift Work?
The Kalea Kosmos is a vertical platform lift. This means that you travel on an open platform inside an enclosed lift shaft, instead of inside a cabin. Platform lifts do not travel as fast as conventional passenger lifts, but offer many other advantages, such as short delivery time, fast installation and space-efficiency.
Machine Room Less Elevator
With our platform elevators, what you see is what you get. The machinery is so compact that everything fits inside the shaft, no need for a separate machine room.
Adaptable Top Height
The top height on the top floor only needs to be 50 mm higher than the door frame. However, you can also always extend it to fit the available headroom.
Pitless Platform Lift
To install the Kalea Kosmos, no lift pit is needed. It is possible to install the lift directly on the floor with an access ramp or with a shallow pit of 50 mm.
